In 2006, the Bears were actually looking good. They came off a promising 2005 season where the defense earned it’s stripes, picking up the slack of the offense (backup QB Kyle Orton was NOT at Rex Grosman’s level.)
As the 2006 season began, the Bears were looking strong at 5-0 when they faced the Cardinals in their first Monday Night football game of the season.
In this unbelievable come-from-behind win, the defense scored all the come-from-behind points. Linebacker Brian Urlacher was just superhuman in how he played.
